Lo-jack is only good after it's been taken, you can put an Apple Airtag in it for that.
We used to install a hidden cut-off switch or just take the coil wire off and put it in your pocket.
I've pushed cars down the street if I had too, fact is they want it, they take it.

I had two friends who had their Fox body Mustangs stolen. Pushed out on the street.
Should have garaged them. I was at Food for Less for a quick run-in (my brother stayed with the car) and
was offered $15k for my 82 Capri RS 5.0. I get this all the time, especially at gas stations.
I use a cut-off switch on the ignition switch. Or the same for the starter wire. I've also done the distributor at one time... no fire no go.
