1. That's a strong little SOB, all the motors we did only lasted about 30 seconds, had one truck last a few min though. It would have died a lot faster if they hadn't been on the gas pedal.

Cash for clunkers was a big waste of time. Nobody who needed new car benifitted from it. There were people trading in 04 explorers for it. Most of the cars traded were nicer than some cars i have driven. ****ing dealerships and their greed.

i yanked my tb and intake manifold from an explorer in our local pic-a-part that was in the C4C program. the owner of the yard told me the only thing he could not sell was the block.

Not really Obamas fault the stealerships were greedy. It was origonally budgeted for like 4 cars a dealer.

All those people that traded in their perfectly good paid for cars for a car they can't afford, which had no discounts or dealer offers and they paid exactly the same as they would have without the C4C program... If your car was worth more than the 500-1000 you might have actually saved, then you got screwed.
