Clean your plenum...

Just swapped mine out for a Granatelli plenum. Look at all the filth stuck on the stock plenum.

Here are some more detailed picture for whoever who want to know the restrictions in the stock plenum

It start off in circle and slowly turn into a rectagular shape, unlike aftermarket plenum who keep the same cricular shape all the way down

The EGR hole has a big bump for some reason

As you can see, there a big rough casting line right there.

i just did the exact same swap two weeks ago. Same crap inside mine, all dirty and gross. Poor welds inb the stock plenum as well. No wonder the stockers suck so bad. Good choice!

It's on special on Jegs for 99.99$ and it looks like an C&L but sold by Granatalli. I only bought the plenum though, I'n still using the stock 65mm TB, but eventually I will change it to 75mm once I find one for a good price on Ebay.

All because their is no fuel in the intake to keep it clean.
A major problem for fuelie cars the engineers did not plan for..............mass carbon build up.........
