i was just cleaning the old head gaskets off a 306 motor in my garage and same thing happened to me. I would just get a shop vaccuum and clean it out anyway just so YOU would know its been cleaned.

thats the problem. we dont have a shop vacuum. only thing i have that works for cleaning it is putting a bolt down, and trying to bring some back out on the bolt.

go to office max or cvs or somewhere and get one of those keyboard cleaners that is the high pressure air cannister.

Im not sure if it has to be sucked out by a vaccum or if that would work, just wanted to try to help.

Get a drill and your accessory belt. Loop the belt over the water pump and the other end over the drill chuck's drum section and run the drill to spin your water pump. The water will blow out the coolant passages and go everywhere but it will take your debris out with it

=)

Definatley a crazy pete idea but it will work.

Failing that, if they are tiny pieces, they will eventually all get sucked into the radiator and stop on the return side of the radiator. Then you can pop the radiator off and reverse pressure water it to blow them out. They might also collect behind the thermostat. When the car starts to run hot, pop the t-stat elbow off and viola...there is all of your gunk.

Good luck!
