Cleaning rotors and exhaust tips

I have my new rims, and nice and shiny they are!
But now I see my rotors are beginning to turn a rusty color and want to clean them later today when I wash the car. Is that bad to do? Can it be done with some kind of cleaner?
Also, can I use a metal polish on the exhaust tips? They are the stock ones and are getting cloudy.

Your rotor will turn a rusty color as they sit with damp water on them, they are bare metal that happens. If anything you can pull the rotor off and paint the inner circle of the rotor.. NOT THE CONTACT POINT ITSELF... Black with the Duplicolor Caliper Paint kit to keep it clean...

As you drive your rotor will get clean again through normal use.

Other than that upgrade your rotors to something that wont rust...

Use mothers chrome polish on the tips.

Yeah, just drive your stang. When the brakes are used, the brake pad will rub that rust-color right off. As said before, that just comes from sitting water. (nothing to worry about.) :nice:
