Cleaning the Hood Liner

Its a little bit dirty, I was wondering what kind of stuff to use to clean it?

Will regular car soap work?

a soaked rag with some degreaser sprayed on it is the cleanest way to do the job, Degreaser and a waterhose will do the same , but it is much messier

So just spray some simple green on it and hose off.

I'm thinking about painting the pony under there, What kind of paint should I use? I was thinking engine block paint should work right?
