Cleaning the LMAF

Hey the two torx bolts that are on the Lightning MAF, are they to remove the maf wires? Cause on every other maf I have had they were to remove the wire element for cleaning but on my LMAF they just turned and they did not unscrew or let me pull the wire out from the top. Did I just majorly F***up my tune by adjusting something or did my bolts just strip the plastic?? Thanks fellas

if they are just turning you stripped the plastic.

I don't have any experience with the LMAF, but I just use the no-residue electronics cleaner (I think they make MAF cleaner now) and hose the wires with the MAF still assembled.
