As a lot of you know I installed my new Bassani C/B in place of my old SLP II's. We ran into a bit of a problem during the install. The Passenger side muffler was about 1 cm away from the the driveshaft. To me thats unacceptable, it just seems too close. So, we played with it a bit and got it about 1" away from the DS, but then it was rubbing the frame. We finally got it about 3/4" away from the DS and 1 cm off the frame, but there are times I can tell it rubs (frame). wtf? Is the fitment supposed to be this tight?

I love the new sound my car has, its throatier than the II's which is what I wanted. But I'll give SLP the fitment and user friendliness over Bassani. Anyone else with this issue, or is it normal?

Mines tight all over. It hit the frame, a fuel line, control arm, tire on the passenger side, but it is not close to hitting the driveshaft. I've been under their a few times adjusting it. I thought i had it, but then it hits something else. I'll have to go under again and fix it. Just use some thick shims and screw drivers to get some room, then tighten it.

thats what I was afraid of. I guess I'll get it back on the lift this week and I wont leave until Im 100% satisfied with it. Got an exhaust leak I've been meaning to fix anyway, so I'll kill 2 birds with 1 stone.
