clock acting up

alright this morning when i turned my lights on my clock got real dim

i can still turn the nob and my gages get brighter and dimmer but the clock just stays dim when i turn my lights off my clock is bright again i was just wanting to know if there was a quick fix....

if not and then i wont worry bout it(i want to put a gage cluster right there in the future anyways)

its on the same circuit as the lights, so those bitches eat up a lot of power. my car does it to the head unit and i drive an 06. you can re-wire it to a less shared circuit, like the power to your head unit. itll stay bright all the time.
