I have heard of some MAF's that are sensitive to clocking position, mostly C&L meters. I fabbed up a cold air kit that buts up with my old C&L tru-flo pipe. It worked out great, and the car runs and drives the sae way it did before the change. The only difference is now the plug for my 90mm MAF is in an up and down position instead of horizontal. My break in miles are just about up and I want to get a performance tune in the next couple of weeks, but I dont want to have any issues from the position of the MAF.

I search old threads, but the only one that kept coming up was the C&L stuff.

I guess I don't understand how that is a bad thing

Where in the MAF housing is the air sampled on the LMAF?
Compare that to where the air is sampled in a C&L

Im not sure if this is what your after, but here goes. The LMAF sampling tube was normally in a vertical position, but now since the meter was rotated 90deg clockwise the sampling tube is horizontal. Some of the older C&L meters were sensitive to this.

So about my LMAF being rotated 90 deg, problem or not?
