Thinking of putting in some gauges my dash clock is trash.... im thinking air fuel and water temp.... for some reason my stock temp gauge jumps all over the place... and i think this will help out a bit... maybe an oil temp... anyone ever installed these... i know air fuel goes to the HO2's but how do you install the water temp/oil temp gauges

water temp goes to the sending unit in the manifold, if you want to run the stock gauge as well you have to either tap your existing thermostat housing or buy a new one from autozone/advanced/etc. Put the stock unit there and put the aftermarket one in the manifold.

not sure about oil temp, i would do oil pressure... thats what I will be running with my triple gauge pod. Also you'll have to choose if you want mechanical gauges which are full sweep(range) or electric which are usually short sweep unless u spend a lot more $$ for the full sweep.

For my water temp gauge I put the aftermarket sender in the stock location behind the waterneck, then tapped the hole in the water neck and re-threaded the stock sender and stuck it there.

for a A/F gauge you will need a wideband. You cant just hook it to the stock O2's.

has anyone ever done it or knows of a wright up.... i might as well just buy another clock... how hard is it to tap do i need to create a thread ect.... i thought with an air fuel you could hook it to your gound on your O2's or something... i forget how i did it on the probe...

here is what i was planning on getting... i had these in the probe and loved the quality....

either of thoes 2 styles

im also considering pulling out the stock gauge cluster and switching it to red led's behind it... i havent had it out yet so im not sure if this will work on the mustang... but we did do it on a friends probe im trying to make the whole scheme of the car red/smoke/black/chrome

You hit the signal wires for your O2's. You can do it at the puter but it's a pain to access the wires and solder them if you dont want to rip the puter out and disconnect everything. You can use a switch to toggle between banks.

The clock pods are awesome - I'd love one except they dont play nice with dash mats (a must for desert inhabitants).

Good luck.
