I have two machined drilled holes in mu firewall from the PO, purpose unknown. They are both about 1.25 inch diameter and almost touch, with just a 1/16 inch ribbon of metal separating them. I'm not a welder. Anyone know of any neat sheet metal doors or closing plates which I can use to block them off.

Ah.......that would make sense. I don't have the AC installed. I guess I'll use some rubber caps to close these off as I don't want something permanent as I may at some time re-install the AC.
Thanks a lot.
