My rear end will start clunking and will get slower as the car comes to a stop. Only does it while braking, doesn't seem to do it when I use the E-brake. All my control arms and shocks are tight, as well as my lugs and driveshaft bolts. I put new U-joints in last year but can't really rule them out since they have about 15 5000 rpm launches on them with slicks. Had my rearend rebuilt last year with 3.73's a trak-lok rebuild, new bearings and seals. Any ideas? My dad seems to think it's a loose bolt or something but I think it's in the rearend or brakes.

I got the same thing, its mechanical! Its in the rear end or the tranny,I havent pin-pointed it yet! It happens when you Decellerate, and the tranny is downshifting.Rite now I think it "is" in the rear end !!
