I was reading J's guide to removing the gauge cluster in a fox (http://forums.stangnet.com/showthread.php?t=706312&highlight=speedo+cable) but I cant figure out how im supposed to get at the two bottom screws. Ive got the column shield off but it seems like i need a contortionist to get around the cluster and column to get to these damn things... One of the screws is right in behind the interior light dimmer switch and the other is slightly above the ignition slot but farther back... just wanted to make sure these are the screws im supposed to remove, and hopefully someone has a tip on how exactly you get them out. Im trying to use a 7mm socket since I dont have a torx bit, and ive tried universal sockets and extensions but i cant get to it. Tips are appreciated. thanks.
