Clutch Adjustment troubles

I just installed an aluminum flywheel and SPEC 6 puck clutch yesterday. I drove the car around a little and while it goes into gear pretty easily the clutch pedal engages the top inch of the pedal and when I let off the pedal the gears grind. The transmission has plenty of fluid and it didnt do it before the install. Do I need to go out and get an adjustable cable, quadrant? Or could the problem be something else?

It could be your pilot bearing spinning the input shaft. Did you change it? Did you booger it up installing it or lining the transmission back up? Have you tried pulling up on the pedal and letting the quadrant adjust? Sounds like its adjusted pretty high already so thats probably not it.
