Hey guys, I've searched through the forums on a way to adjust my clutch pedal and the only thing i found was using a firewall adjuster kit. I recently had ford put in a new clutch and it was awesome until the clutch broke in, now it is engaging very high into the clutch pedal. I don't really want to have to take it back to ford for a little adjustment, so is there anyway to adjust it myself anywhere on the line? How does ford do it without the kit?

Thanks
Keith

if you have the stock cable and quadrant then the adjustment is automatic if everything is operating properly. Put your foot under the clutch pedal and pull it all the way up. Then press the pedal all the way to the floor and release it. It should adjust itself. If you want to be able to manually adjust the clutch you need to get an aftermarket adjustable cable and a firewall adjuster. If you're doing that i would recommend ditching the stock plastic quadrant for an aftermarket one.
