Clutch Cable broke any tips for easy install?

Well went to lunch tonight and damn the tranny didnt want to shift I had to shove the pedal to the floor just to change gears. Well stopped into Sonic got out got lunch, got back into the car and then SNAP! clutch pedal was now very soft. So got a new cable is there any tricks to do it? Never done it before looks pretty straight fwd its on a 86GT. The pedal was so dang hard to press in the last couple of months and was hard to shift so it just went on its way!

Surprisingly the clutch cable is the only part of my car i havent messed with, everything else has been gone through. I'm at school right now "communications 205 yee haa" So when I get home i'll try and tackle it.
