I have all the parts together to finish putting in the T-5. The only thing that I am not sure on is the original syle linkage. I would like to use the more modern diaphram style pressure plate w/ Clutch Cable. I know that there are kits to do everything on the swap but I wanted to see if this would work. I was wonering if there was a way to make a Late Model 5.0 clutch cable work in a 65-66 mustang without using a kit from someone. By using parts that can be found in a hardware store or somewhere easily.

If you have the 5.0 bell/clutch, you can just get the pedal quadrant and weld it to the pedal yourself.....then get a stock 5.0 cable, and weld some allthread to the fork end to provide adjustment. Thats about as cheap as you can go.
