Clutch cables

Ok well I searched around on here and found that most recommended the MM cables. I don't want to but right now I'm too busy ! So- right now on my 94 I have an unknown brand triple quadrant and firewall adjuster. I have been buying Ford OEM heavy duty cables. They last between 6 months to a year. Last time it broke I had time to mess with it- pulled out the quadrant and found that it wasn't installed properly and didn't line up with the cable. I modified the quadrant and moved it to where it should be so the cable went straight into the firewall, since it looked like it was scraping the side of the quadrant by not being aligned properly causing it to break after a while. BTW- the cables always break within 1 inch of where they hook to the quadrant. Thought I had fixed all my problems until today, when I pushed in the clutch and felt the cables breaking. I'm only holding on my a strand! I'm tired of putting in clutch cables, since this is the 4th or 5th one, and desperately want to fix it for good. Should I go for just the MM cable or buy the whole setup again- quadrant, firewall adjuster, and cable? Thanks.
