The blue one I have seems to need more adjustment than I can get out of it,
I purchased one of the last " good" cables that MM made, but it was in stock at LMR.. The adjuster is blue. I want to say all of it was in a package LMR sold, but its been a few minutes, and well, you know how old I am.... LOL
Noobz, I don't understand your question, remember this fox stuff is new to me...
When I have moved the car out of the garage, it seems as it the clutch does not start to engage until the clutch pedal is almost all the way out... When I have tried to adjust the " blue" firewall adjuster it only moves about !/4 of an inch..
Will do, but I can tell you its not one of the adjustable ends with a nut....Post an image of your firewall adjuster.
And while you're out there, see if you can a good image of the cable end where it engages with the clutch fork.

Will the stock cable work with the newer aluminum quadrants???Does anyone have a drawing for the OEM Ford cables? Does that exist?

thanks for the wealth of help here...... I was on my other project when I came across this adjuster at hanlons which got my juices stirred..Couple thoughts...
1. Yes, the one you posted looks like it has the normal amount of adjustability, but I doubt there's anything wrong with what you have. Your car must have an aluminum quadrant, as the stock quadrant is not compatible with a firewall adjuster. Did you install or at least check that your stocker has been replaced?
2. If the car doesn't start to move until the pedal is nearly fully released, then you actually need to adjust it closer to the firewall, not further away where an adjuster with 'more range' would help. If you spin the adjuster all the way to the firewall, are you getting any slack in the cable? It kinda looks in the pic like you already have slack. So, I'm having a hard time reconciling that.
3. As far as adjusting the cable, which I tinker with about every time I change my oil, I can tell a properly adjusted cable by pulling on the cable with medium force (maybe 25 lbs?) and getting about a dime or so gap between the adjuster and black plastic cable stop. From there, I fine tune just a bit if I don't like the 'sweet spot' in the pedal. That's the best way I can describe it, as the pull weight and sweet spot location is just a muscle memory for me. You must stay on top of the adjustment, as the clutch disk/pressure plate wear will require manual adjustment over time.
3. If you're really struggling, despite the above, then you can try a Steeda cable in place of the MM you have. The Steeda, which has an adjustable end, will definitely give you any range your firewall adjuster is currently lacking.
Clutch cable...Yes. I read a lot about the Fiore only to find out they aren't in business anymore. Lethal used to carry them but I never read anything about them making their own version. I'll go back and look. I've never owned anything made by UPR. I'm kinda scared of them....lol. I'll do some looking at that particular piece though.
I also looked everywhere for that bearing fix but couldn't remember who did it. @jrichker do you have a link to your post about this?
Oh....and I run Centerforce Dual Friction clutches. I'm good with stock pedal effort.

General, I have my stock cable and stock plastic adjustable quadrant... this cable is longer overall ( read where they were actually for Sn95 cars) so I am ok there... Thanks for the offer..Would a stock cable and another adjuster help you compare?
Sounds like a plan... TYTake it out and see where that puts the pedal. If it is then too low on the release I would then start the process of shaving a little off at a time to "tune" the release point.
The firewall needs to be adjusted in, and it bottoms out before I get close...I suspect you won't need it, with the firewall adjusted out enough.
