Clutch & Flywheel Combinations
I'm looking at using the Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch Part # 611679 and the 12 Lb. Fidanza Aluminum Flywheel Part # 186551. This is the same flywheel as the Steeda Part # 257-186551.
I have heard that some people needed to shim their throwout bearings to get the clutch to fully release.
Justin Burcham said that he needed to shim his but I think he was using a 10.5" and not the one designed for the 05.
Has anyone used this exact combination on an 05 Mustang GT with stock transmission and throwout bearing?
Has anyone else tried a different Dual Friction Clutch and Aluminum Flywheel combination?
How do you like it?
How streetable is this combination?
