I did a search and I did not find what i was looking for. I am getting ready to convert to a T5-z in my 67 and I don’t know what clutch to get. I have a mildly built 289 but I plan to add Nitrous down the road, just for the wow factor. I have been looking at the King Cobra clutch, and the Centerforce DF. I like the price of the King Cobra but is it as good as I have heard? I have also heard that the Centerforce can be too grabby for around town driving is this true? As you probably figured this car is driven 95% of the time in town. Any suggestions or other options you have will be most welcome? Thanks for your time,

I just had the Centerforce II clutch installed a few months ago in my 67, 302 toploader, by a speed shop. I think the DF would've been overkill for me, but am happy so far. Along with the improved throttle linkage, the car really takes off well now. Good luck.

What’s the word on the KC clutch? Dose it have a lighter pressure then stock like it Claims, or is it stiff like I have read in many post. Also what kind of torque/ HP can it handle? Thanks,
