Clutch Ford Help!

Does anyone know if a 4 cylinder clutch fork is the same as the 5.0 fork? I put the 4 cyl one in mine when I did a 5 speed swap, and it doesn't seem like it is fitting exactly how it should.

This is speculation but I think the only difference in a 4cyl and 8cyl manual trans setup isthe input shaft...I cant see Ford actually producing two different forks for the exact same setup due to the increased costs of manufacturing. can you post a pic, I would be able to tell you for sure..
