Anyone have a guess to how much it would cost for parts and labor to replace a clutch fork and firewall shield?
The shop called back, said the original noise that I heard is due to the clutch fork. He also said the firewall shield is touching the flywheel or something and that's why the pedal vibrates. He said if I don't get that replaced it'll probably ruin the flywheel.
I forgot to ask the shop for a quote and when I called back they didn't answer. My car is in the shop since he was trying to fix the speedo problem. It wasn't the external sensor so he had Ford deliver an internal sensor. When they showed up with a pre 99 sensor he called and said I won't have the car until Tuesday (damn long weekend..)
