Is the clutch fork in the bellhousing supposed to have alot of play. I know with the spring on and everything installed it doesn't have the play. But is the clutch fork just supposed the pivot back and forth on the bracket in the bellhousing. There are small pins on the top and bottom of the fork bracket that kind of fit in the fork. Any info would be great, thanx..............

What do you mean "a lot of play?" A lot of slop in the pivot or a lot of play before the fork hits the throwout bearing?

Do you have the "wire" spring clip retainer which holds the fork against the fulcrum? Overall, it is a pretty sloppy system, in my opinion, but I'm not really sure about your question. Yeah, once the throw-out is connected, the spring connected to the outer end of the fork, the spring clip engaged, everything should be somewhat taut.
