I need a clutch in my 03 gt, it's a daily driver BUT i do take it to the track 3-4 times a year. I dont want a clutch thats going to be rock hard to push in, i have had a centerforce dual friction clutch in my 97 gt and it was just to much work to drive it around daily. I am considering ZOOM and RAM i havnt heard anything good as far as SPEC...What would yall suggest as far as brand and stage?? Trans is a TREMEC 3650

i have a T-45.. and tried a zoom clutch. it's 11in. and i needed 10.5. So to use the zoom i would've needed to buy a $3xx.xx 11in flywheel. So i returned it and bought a Ford Racing clutch. It looks like a very very strong clutch... the zoom one looked kinda cheap. its not in yet but will be soon.

i dont know how many miles your car has on it.. but if your doing the clutch also do the pressure plate, throw out bearing, resurface/ get new flywheel.. If it has around 80,000 or over i'd also buy a clutch fork and the point the clutch fork pivots on. just a suggestion :)

My car only has 40k you still think i need a flywheel??? Hey when you get the zoom clutch can you let me know what you think?

i already got the zoom and couldnt use it because it required a 11in. flywheel (it was an 11in clutch). So i returned it and bought a 10.5 in ford racing clutch kit. looking at the two side by side the ford racing clutch looks like a much nicer/stronger clutch. The zoom clutch looked cheap.

I installed a fidanza alum flywheel and a centerforce dual friction clutch, I love it. I had a spec stage 1 and that clutch gave me soooo many issues:notnice: it chattered a ton and the clutch pedal was super heavy. after 10,000 miles the damn thing was near death. I replaced it with a king cobra and that clutch was not great but ok.
