Clutch Lever Rattle

At certain RPMs my clutch lever vibrates a lot, causing a very annoying rattle. I checked the linkage and the bolt is tight, however, there is a little play, side to side, on the bar the lever connects to and pivots from (excuse my lack of a more technical description). I was considering adding a spacer to take up the side to side play but I don't want to release the spring, because I think it would be a PITA to put back on.

The car is under warranty so I asked Ford to fix it, but they were unable to get the clutch to rattle (it doesnt always do it). Has anyone exprienced this rattle? If so what's the best solution?

my 2000gt did that like crazy...esp in the cold....the pedal would just flap around creating a noise.....after i traded it in....some girl bought it...and the dealer called for some reason and said it was the shifter cuasing it...no idea but it was annoying!!!

I have the same exact problem, and am gonna get it checked out by the dealer in a couple weeks. It started happening right after I changed my clutch and I have no idea what it is. If I find anything out I'll make sure and post it.

Please do let us know. Like I said I brought it into the dealer and they couldn't get it to rattle, while it does it for me about half the time.
