I did a burnout at the track tonight and afterwards the clutch was making a rubbing noise and then what sounded like really bad clutch chatter when i let the pedal out and it started to engage. I stalled the car the first few times I tried to burn out. I have a Spec Stage 3 clutch and Billet Steel FW (installed about a month ago. Could there be something serious wrong or could it be making that noise from getting heated up too much?? Could it be the TOB?? I replaced it when I put the clutch and FW in. Im kinda worried. I dont want to pull the tranny. Im in the middle of moving and dont really have anywhere to drop the tranny at if there is a problem.

between 2k and 3k. There was always a little clutch chatter but not this rubbing noise/feeling when engaging. I also took the firewall adjust out to put a valve cover in yesterday. I am not sure if it is set exactly where it was before, could that be an issue?? I drove it for about a half an hour today and it seemed like it might be a tad bit better but not by much if any.

Since the clutch was broke in there's a good chance it might just be the ToB, but I'm not an expert. I agree with Road Rage, Stage 1 maybe stage 2 would have been better depending on your application.

I know EXACLTY what your problem is.
You have a SPEC clutch. those clutches SUK! And I know this from experience. U might as well switch out the Spec clutch and that Spec POS TOB for a centerfore Dual Friction clutch and TOB!

The clutch was just fine until I stalled the car a few times. I havent had any complaints until now about spec clutches and I really like the stage three, doesnt feel like too much to me.
