I just finished putting the motor in my fox and my clutch doesn't seem to want to engage. I put it into gear and the clutch pedal comes all the way out and nothing happens. I did notice that the clutch feels a little different than it did before I swapped motors. Feels a little harder to push down initially, but it feels much smoother than before and much like my buddies fox with the same clutch so I thought nothing of it. It's a king cobra clutch with an unknown cable and freshly resurfaced flywheel.

Any idea what's up? I'm kind of hoping its just a cable/adjustment issue but let me know what you think.

No slack in the cable and no preload. You've just barely removed all the slack in other words.

Is this to activate the self-adjusting cable tightening mechanism?
