Hey guys i'v been trying to figure this out for awhile now and am in need of your help. I got a used Lsc engine that runs great , got it installed in the fox but now i'v got a wild vibration going on , checked out the balancer and it did have a wobble to it so i got a new powerbond balancer and it straight as an arrow now.
Now i know that the lsc engine was an auto car so in went a new cluch along with a pilot bearing, before we got the engine installed we were fighting it into the transmission shaft and think it popped in proper, well at least all the bolts around the bell to the engine mated up but my guess was that i did not have the transmission shaft lined up to the pilot but it all mated up?
When all was said and done there was more than an inch of slack on the clutch cable so i had to adjust the clutch adjuster all the way out of the fire wall when before it was right up close to it. I don't know if i did something wrong before this but if anyone can help me out that would be great .
So a used engine with 1 new motor mount installed with a new clutch kit with a consistent vibration above 1000 rpms, I did not have the fly wheel resurfaced cause it looked good, cluch grabs good to.
