clutch pedal is HEAVY

like this ever since i bought the car, very annoying when trying to shift fast because i have to SLAM the pedal down, and traffic is even worse. is there something i can do to make the pedal lighter?

maybe it has some racing clutch? sounds like you didn't put it in

as far as i know its a stock one. along with all the other clutch components

What kind of clutch cable do you have? You can at least see if it is non-adjustable by lookin at the clutch fork, where the cable hooks up.

sounds like a clutch adjustment kit is in order, no? adjustable quadrant, firewall adjuster, and maybe even an adjustable cable? upr? steeda?

All my v8 mustangs had stiff clutch's (two were stock, two were KC's)
My v6 mustang was EXTREMELY light....not sure what to say, i've always heard that mustang clutch's are stiff (i've driven about 30 v8 stangs and so far i find this to be true)
