Clutch Problem/Question

I would rule out a throw out bearing, because if you remember, the bearing spins when you step on the clutch and the input shaft of the tranny dosn't. if the noise goes away when you step on the clutch it usually something with the tranny.

It's the throwout bearing.

$30 part, just takes a bit of work to get to it and this is usually when people replace clutches simply because you're down there. You don't have to though, but if you're close to or over 60k miles I would.

Going in this weekend to replace my TOB, it's starting to squeal again. (sounds like crickets)
