Whats up Well. I posted a problem last time about a noise coming from the center area inside the car where the tranny is. I thought it was the cats rattling when I would take it up high rpms. It urns ot its not the cats. Took it to ford, they advisor said it sounds like inside the tranny or the clutch. The tranny is fine he told me so it prob could be your throw out bearing. Anyone experience this.? They havent fixed it yet, cause they cant pinpoint the problem.

I had a throwout bearing problem with my 2000 GT, but this was a very unique sound, kind of like a...well...loud turkey gobble or wobbly squeaking noise when stationary and in neutral, with the clutch out. Your car do anything like this?

try moving the clutch pedal in different positions sometimes if its the throwout bearing it will get quite or change sounds with different clutch fork positions, my tbird would make noise and if i would slightly push/rest my foot on the clutch it would get quite... if you can make it sound different its prolly a throwout bearing or in the clutch assembly.
