Ok here is the deal I just had a 331 motor finished. SO I swaped out my tired 302 for the 331. But I had to use a old clutch do to lack of money. I am using a mcload scarter sheild now instead of the tremec one that was with the old motor.

Now when I step on the clutch and hold it to the floor, and put the car in gear the tires just spin even with the clucth to the floor. SO I am not sure what is happening. SO please help me out.

Is the Mcload bell deeper then the tremec bellhousing do I need a different type of clutch something a little longer.

It is this bellhousing UNIVERSAL SAFETY BELL HOUSING M-6392-C

How much pedal freeplay is there? If much, I would dial it out and see how it does to help with disengagement.

Good luck.

I have one of those steeda fire wall adjusters, and we try full in and fuul out with no luck.

also I had ordered one from summit when I order the bellhousing It say heavy duty clutch fork part # 11525. The guy said it would work with the lake wood bell housings. DO I have the right fork.
