hoping you guys could give me a heads-up on installing an adjustable clutch quadrant. i received my UPR 3-hook quadrant and would like to get it in today, if possible.

do i have to remove the pedal assy? here's what i'm hoping for: 1) disconnect clutch cable, 2) unbolt old quadrant, 3) bolt in new one, 4) reconnect cable. please tell me it's that simple. thanks, guys.

I did mine in about 40 mins with very little tools, its pretty much 2 C-clips and the old one oomes off then the new one goes on. Gettin the stock one off is kinda tricky b/c of the spring on it. Goodluck

A little tire iron can be persuasive in breaking the pawl and quadrant apart.

So in order to reach the clutch quadrant, you replace it through the clutch pedal, inside the car?

For some reason I thought it was under the car near the tranny, or near the thing that seperates the interior from the engine. (Firewall?)

The quad sits on two pegs that are on the clutch pedal arm. Two pins hold the quad on the pegs.

The quad kinda sits above the gas pedal (it is inline with right where the clutch cable goes into the firewall).

I would invest the $4.95 in A Steeda quadrant spacer. P/N 555-7026
It centers the quadrant on the pins so the cable does not rub on anything and wear. Just my .02
