Clutch Quadrant kits - Which works the best?

Finishing up installing the Motorsporst King Cobra clutch, now ready to finish the install. As much as I want hydraulics, it is obviously practically impossible, so I am looking at the quadrant kits.

Which ones seem to work the best? I want the adjustability at the firewall as well.

I don't have one yet but I've had my ear to the ground looking for the same thing you are. I've heard lots of positive things about this one and so far... no negatives:

You can never go wrong with the Steeda 3 piece kit or the upr kit.

All Pretty much do the same thing, yes? They all replace the ratchet mechanism, and have an adjuster in the firewall? What's the difference then?

(my editor made me ask that one!)

I'm using the Steeda "double hook" quadrant and F/W adjuster with an OEM cable. Works great. But all of these pieces are a PITA to install. My stocker was stripped so it wouldn't adjust at all. Because I also put in a King Cobra kit, thought upgrading the quadrant was a necessity. Now, engagement is fully adjustible from low to high - mine is right at the brake pedal hight. Do it - you won't regret it (after it's in - LOL)

The biggest differences seem to be:

1. lateral slop in the quadrant due to hinge hole being the wrong size
2. Radius of the quadrant itself (some have a larger radius for decreased pedal feel, more cable movement, etc.)
3. Number of pickup hooks adding to the adjustability of the cable
4. Alignment with the cable opening through the firewall
5. REALIABILITY

I'm using the steeda package and it seems to be fine for the 4 years I've had it. Get the oem cable though...

Steeda here, and love it.

I have the steeda quadrant and firewall adjuster with a STOCK cable in my car as mentioned above. It's been in there for 3 years with no problems, I love it. It's been in there with spec stageII and stageIII clutches.
