Clutch Quadrant Question

Put my new clutch cable on today and things worked well for the first few pushes. After a couple of times the clutch quadrant slipped and now it constanmtly slips like the teeth are not grabbing the cogs. I figure the quadrant is stripped/worn out. Is there something else I am supposed to do to stop it from slipping??


I ordered up my Aluminum Ford Motorsprt one today but I wont have that until Monday.

Your stock quadrant is most likely worn out, like you said. The new quadrant should fix your problem.

that's probably it, or maybe you blew a head gasket
