Clutch Quadrant Question

I've heard some stories about the stock quadrant breaking while driving and I don't think I want that to happen to me.

I've read that the Steeda adjustable quadrant/firewall adjuster works quite well. The question I have is will this R/R involve a lot or is it fairly manageable for a do-it-yourselfer?

Thanks!! :flag:

Do it yourself..

..Mine broke..(-old car, -83GT)
Its not too complicated. Remove your drivers seat, and
lay down inside the car with a little extra space. If you are reusing the old wire, remove it from the firewall, and clean,
lubricate it well (WD-40 etc). Install a new one if you can.
Break, warm up, cut etc the old (plastic) quadrant,
install your new aluminium quadrant,
and adjust the wire.. Think you gonna fix that. :nice:
