in my '88 gt, my stock clutch quadrant stipped, and i was just wondering if it would make sense to buy the cable, firewall adjuster, and the quadrant...or just save the hundred bucks and just get the aftermarket quadrant?

if there is n0thing wr0ng with y0ur cable i w0uld just keep it. get an aftermarket quadrant and firewall adjuster. i highly rec0mmend fi0re quadrants and firewall adjusters...but thats just me

there you go

self adjusting. pulling up on the clutch pedal disengages the teeth, pushing back down on the pedal will re-engage the teeth, supposedly at the spot it's supposed to.

If it's not working any longer, you just replace it, don't even waste your time messing with it.
