Can I use a N/A clutch on a SVO flywheel? I have the SVO bell housing and flywheel. I am converting a auto to t-5. Autozone here in Denver has the N/A clutch for 79.00 but the SVO setup is 140.00 bucks. I have a N/A car so I am not putting out the big horsepower. If the pressure plate housing fits on either one, I figure that using the n/a clutch only means that the outer rim of the machined flywheel surface is not being used.
Another question, where does one get the clutch linkage parts? The small piece of cable that runs from the clutch fork to the torque rod on the side of the bellhousing and the part that connects to the cable to the torque rod? I went to the local mustang salvage yard and I think the guy bent me over for the parts.
Mad props to Dr. E for the advice to keep the turbo stuff.
