ive still got the stock clutch in my 03gt w/60k after i drive it for a little while in the city wiht alot of stop and go it starts to get noticably more stiff and notchy at the bottom closest to the floor i havent noticed it slipping though could it just need adjustment or is this normal when they get hot and the clutch gets a little aged?

most likely your problem is a worn clutch cable. a new clutch cable should fix your problem. other things that can cause this is a TOB sticking to the input shaft sleeve that it rides on. another likely cause is that the clutch fork and pivot ball are grinding into each other, this is common and in just about every trans I have removed from a mustang I have seen damage to the pivot ball..

I would start with the cable since it is the easiest to do, both of the others require trans removal.

Then, those things aside, it sounds as if you're ready for a Centerforce DF...! My OEM clutch does the same...apply some heat and it gets a bit notchy and stiff...a min later it's fine. No slippage whatsoever, so I'm hopefully good for another 15K or better. The 3650 and 11" clutch are pretty tough (without throwing serious gobs of power at em)
