clutch question

im kinda new to the mustang scene last summer i bought a 2000 gt...recently i installed a new SPEC stage 2 clutch, clutch cable and quadrant im still in the break-in period everythings fine then when i hit fourth and some of fifth there is a rubbing sound is this just normal clutch chatter during break in or what? its just really irritating

I don't remember anything unusual when i put mine in. It was just very grabby until i got it broken in.

is it making the noise when you shift into those gears or after you have let off the clutch?

sounds weird...my spec stage 2 never did that, but youre 50/50 in quality when buying spec so you might have got a dud...it might go away after the break in period and one good hard shift though...

its after i shift into those gears and release the clutch is when its happening...in 5th its not really doing it anymore and 4th is getting better...just hope it gets goes away first rear wheel clutch swap ive ever done dont really want my first one to be botched...but i guess time will tell
