Ok guys as im learning more about my car and etc.

The clutch is real freaking heavy lifts me off the seat pushing it in.
Its a KC clutch with less than 10k on her

she is real hard to shift from 1st to 2nd hit it hard she grinds.
but slow it does ok.

Sync? or new clutch? or cable needs to be adjusted? what gives
with the weight of it tho?

i lift the clutch up and push it in there was no click sound.

:::EDIT:::
also needs a bearing sleeve

sounds like the cable needs to be adjusted...just did a friends 91 GT last night with brand new King Cobra just like yours...at first it was very heavy like the old pedal felt....wayy too heavy, and lettin up right off the floor...so its not letting the pressure plate move far enough away from the clutch disc and flywheel. Im gonna guess thats your problem too and thats why it grinds when you rip 2nd gear...so i just tightened the Adjusting nut on the fork a little tighter, and tested the pedal as i went and eventually i got it right in the middle..he noticed the pedal felt a lot easier to push in too....i beleive thats because the fork being closer helps with leverage....if that makes any sense to anyone but me...

hope its not a syncro

My notch grinded from 1st to 2nd sometimes just like your car did. Easy shifting was fine but fast shifting was terrible. It turnd out to be 2nd and 3rd gear syncros, as well as 2nd gear itself. Plus all of the plastic tabs on the shift forks were bad. So....665 dollars of parts and labor of bench fixing, it is great. I pulled the trans out and took it to my shop. I also did the clutch install myself. Now that the car is done, it was well worth it!! Car is a dream now.
