Clutch Safety Switch: Which is it and how many connectors

I have 2 switches being activated off of my clutch. One is over the gas pedal (near the quadrant) it has grey wires going to it, the other is over the cltch pedal and it has one white wire and one red with teal tracer wire...


This also shows two connectors on it::

both of these switches only have one connector coming out of them... I haven't pulled the seat to really get under there yet (forgot my Haynes manual at work today)...

BUT there is also a hanging grey connector covered in tape... HMMMMM.... maybe somone can decscribe good enough or take a picture....

So is the clutch safety switch the one over the clutch and is it the bottom connector that give it the clutch safety feature? if so then when are the other 2 switches doing?

Unfortunately what I need to know if on your clutch switch (or others) have 1 or two connectors plugged into it...

Then if at all possible try unplugging things until I know what connector will cause the car to not start at all.

Thanks guys... my dangling connector was shorted internally. I undid that, the car wouldn;t start so I plugged it into the lower connector on the clutch switch and it works great now...

Woo Hoo... Now I know I will pass tech on Friday....
