I am having a problem with both my 5 liter car and 99 GT. I inherited the problem upon purchase of the 91. After changing to a supposed KING COBRA( says Valeo) clutch purchased from the UPR booth at last years WFC and a Steeda adjustable quadrant and cable the car squeals at idle and under slight acceleration. If I barely put force and I mean barely on the clutch pedal the squeal will stop at idle. Also the clutch pedal vibrates and rumbles real bad. We have adjusted the cable at the firewall and at the fork and cannot get the shake and squeal out of the clutch pedal. Any insight on what this is?

The throw out bearing is dragging the pressure plate fingers slightly, this is causing the noise and the pedal movement..
Did you lube the face of the t/o bearing lightly? Hard to say how you are going to best fix it with it already installed unless you can get in to it through the fork hole..

I've got the same problem... think it's the throwout bearing... I was wondering if an adjustable clutch cable could stop this squeeling. Meaning, the squeeling stops under slight pressure on hte clutch, so, would tightening the clutch cable stop the sound??? Neone?
