Can I run a 24# calibrated '95 Cobra 70MM MAF on my 95 GT (with the corresponding 24# squirters?)? without any issues?

The meter used on the GT & Cobra are the exact same meter

Neither are caled for 19's or 24's

Ford does not do that kinda thing with their OEM meters :Word:

Soooooooo

You can't just bolt on an OEM meter from a Cobra and a set of 24's
on your GT

What size is the stock GT MAF, I thought they were 55MM and the cobras were 70mm?

when you say "tune" I am assuming you're referring to the ECU tune. So then, theoretically, I would need a cobra ECU to run 24# (or an aftermarket MAF or MAF piggyback)

and a cobra MAF isn't going to do squat other than be a paperweight.

IIRC

Its the fox meter that is 55mm
and
The GT/Cobra meter is 70mm

Again ... they are the same meter

That is pretty much the straight scoop

Good stuff.

Grady is right - the fox A9*'s get 55 mm units. The fox cobra uses a 93 cobra specific MA meter (the transfer curve is different than A9's and SN's). Don't be fooled by one though (since it is a 70 mm unit as I recall).
