I installed my Cobra brake kit and when I went to install the Master cylinder the outlet ports on the Cobra Master cylinder were different sizes. Small in front and larger one in back.
Anyone else have this problem and what did you do to fix it?
Can you get replacement lines?

I think you can just use the GT master cylinder.

Never heard of this, but will be using the new one soon as well. I'd like to know. Supposedly it is a better MC. And people do use it. I'm sure he would want to use the new one.

I remember reading a write-up about 2 years ago on the Cobra M/C swap, and you have to get a fitting for I think the larger side, and cut the stock line, remove the stock fitting, put on the larger fitting and re-flare the line. I think this is why most people stick with the stock M/C when they do the Cobra brakes, I did and I love the pedal feel, its nice and firm and provides more than enough pressure to lock-up the front wheels (ABS).

I really like the stock MC, too. Pedal feel is perfect.

Dont have the stock one anymore...but I can take a pic of the cobra one installed if that helps. Everything is hazy to me since it was 4+ yrs ago when I did this on the car.

I went to a place here called G&J aircraft and had some custom SS lines made with the correct fitting, plus they look bad a$$ and only cost me 40.00, the fittings are actually the same size as the GT M/C, but there switched backwards so take the gt m/c to a local place where they make lines and fittings and they will hook you up.

Thank you juiced.
Great idea I'll go to America hose and fitting and have some made up.

The reason I got the Cobra kit was so I could replace everything so I don't want to use the stock MC.

I just bought the cobra.... lol, I did just put SS brake lines, cross drilled and slotted rotors front and back and new hawk pads all around this weekend. The car stops on a dime now. I'll put pics up if anyone wants to see what they look like.

Please do post some pic.

But check out the new thread I posted in the talk section about my horror storie with my Cobra Kit.
crapolaThe Gremlins got me and the retards at Ford Racing.
Ford Racing sent me two right hand calipers. I didn’t find this out until I went to bleed the last one on the left side. The bleeder is on the bottom not the top.
