I know, its a dead horse.. its been said a million times and I appologize in advance. I've read all the posts that I can about this. But being a poor, starving college student just trying to build a quality muscle car in my spare time, I have to double and triple check parts before I go spending money!
Presently I have disc brakes (11" maybe, not sure) on the front and drums on the rear. I would like to upgrade the brakes to the Cobra setup. Since I plan on running 17" rims all around, I won't have any issues fitting the larger disc brakes.
I was planning on purchasing a kit similiar to this http://www.blueovalindustries.com/products.php?pid=636&openparent=1287&dealer=blueoval
that include cobra slotted and cross drilled 13" rotors and calipers for the front as well as 11.65" slotted and cross-drilled rotors and calipers for the rear.
In order to make these fit on a 67, I see that I need to purchase Mustang Steve's front bracket and Ultrastang's rear bracket.
My concerns are, since I don't have front drum brakes currently, I will have to go hunt down some front drum brake hubs right?
How does the parking brake setup work with ultrastang's rear brackets and the cobra calipers?
Is there anything that I am missing/not understanding before I go spend my lunch money on car parts?
Thanks! (and I appologize again for YET ANOTHER brake question)
