No abs light, its only a very slight shimmy/vibration. and I don't feel it through the steering wheel, more through the brake pedal and floor. Because i don't feel it through the wheel ( iam hesitant to say its a warped rotor.) I replaced the brakes before because i had a warped rotor.
since you say its not through the wheel i would check out the rear brakes they would cause the car to shake where as something in the front brakes would cause the car+wheel to shake
I dont see how an alignment would cause this, but as the above poster said I would just go get that done anyway since it needs to be done and see if that helps with your problem. I'd have to agree this may have to do with breaking in your rotors, however I have never heard of such a thing, but this may be the case with a "performance" rotor. If the rotors were warped, you would feel a pulsation at any speed with the brakes applied.
I agree with whomever said it above, I think you may have improperly broke in your rotors. I had Baer rotors on my old LS1 and Bear was very clear in their recommended steps to break in the rotors. I just played it safe and drove the car normally for a week. After a week or so I started to do random medium braking through out the next week. Then after about three weeks of normal to medium braking I did a few HARD brakes in the folowing days. I didn't have a problem. They were drilled/slotted as well.
The good news is though, all you need to do is resurface them at this point, but it'd be best to use a dial indicator if at all possible. This would rule out having to maybe turn them completely...
I wonder if the pads are glazed too soon??
Maybe I missed it, but what kind of Pads did you use when you swapped the setup??
