I'm about to purchase the Cobra Brake upgrade kit for front and rear from Performance Parts Inc. My kit will have the red calipers which are listed as the 10th Anniversary Cobra kits. Which master cylinder should I get?

A local Ford dealer has a decent price for a 1994 Cobra master cylinder, but not sure if that will be OK or if I should get a 2004 Cobra master cylinder. Part numbers for both are different.

Who has upgraded to a Cobra master cylinder AND which did you get? Where was it purchased?

Thanks.

i bought a rebuilt 94 cobra master cilynder from auto zone, it was 42 bucks but you will need the brake lines also because they are the same size but reversed (switched sides) i just had custom braided lines made for me for 30 bucks from g&j aircraft in ontario ca. as for the 04 m/c it wont work its whole different brake set up, i have what you bought (red 04 calipers) and the 94 m/c was perfect.

Thank you so much. Your post looks familiar, but I swear I didn't see the answer.

A local Ford dealer can get me a new m/c in a couple days, so I'd like to get it since everthing else is new: front/rear kit and ss lines. Also adding 03 Cobra front control arms while where at it.

Thanks again. Now I'm gonna order everthing tonight.
